The matrix should be exported from 3DEM using 'Save Terrain Matrix' and selecting 'Binary Signed Integer' as the format. To download 3DEM and topographic data see this website This area can be obtained by downloading DEM or SRTM data from the internet and saved using a program called 3DEM
